      • I agree, this article is in need of serious working on, especially the last part. It was talking about a car (that was never mentioned before) then it starts talking about going to gold mining? --Steven 1:32, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

I would have thought that it's reasonably obvious (and didn't really reqire specific mention) that such a journey is going to involve some sea travel. Famous motoring events such as the London to Sydney Marathon (first run in 1968) do the same. I will update though. Regards -- Ian ≡ talk 06:38, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
