[edit] Race?
I have removed the part at the begining of the article which cited her race: "was an african american woman" and replaced it with the phrase "was a murderer". This brings it in line with other articles about 20th century women who were executed in the USA. I dont see how her race or gender was particularly relevant to her crime and it was inconsistent with the other articles.
[edit] Unbalanced
This is an article about a murderer convicted and sentenced to death by the state of Texas, but there's absolutely no information in the article to indicate why she was considered to be guilty of the crime. The unbalanced portrayal makes it seem she was railroaded, but I don't see any real evidence of that. I'm not saying that the article should not present any doubts, but considering the outcome of the judicial process (requiring that a preponderance of the evidence be against her) the words devoted to pros and those devoted to cons should at least be in equipoise.
