Noticed the stub was lacking... and wrong.. so I whipped up a quick summary. Kind of expected someone to clean it up but nobody has.. --Froth 22:51, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Somebody once told me that the play is based on an actual play like that. Does anybody know if the play exists or really is metafictional?

I've heard of a number of science fiction stories and television episodes with similar themes, but never of a stage play. Somebody should write it! SkepticalGal 21:05, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Possible entry for Trivia: In the episode, Riker is controlled by aliens with mild-altering drugs and cannot determine what is real and what is his dementia. Riker and Worf are looking at a map; the landing spot for their mission is labelled "T 420". This is a possible reference to marijuana which has mind-altering effects.
