The licensing seems to contradict itself here. Does the copyright belong to Minnesota Historical Society for the reproduction or is it public domain because it is a faithful photographic reproduction (slavish reproduction) of a public domain photo?
What is Wikipedia's policy on slavish copies?
Should the "copyright" be removed but Minnesota Historic Society's collection still credited as holding the original?
