Frayser Boy (born Cedric Coleman) is an Academy Award-winning rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is signed to Hypnotize Minds, the label run by Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J. He has released 3 albums under the Hypnotize label: Gone on That Bay (2003), Me Being Me (2005), and Da Key (2008).
At the 78th Annual Academy Awards, he, alongside Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J was awarded an Academy Award for the "Best Original Song" with "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp". The song, co-written by Coleman for Hustle and Flow, was performed live at the ceremony just before it won.
His third album, Da Key, was released on May 20th 2008.
