The NS-Frauenschaft (NSF) N(ational)S(ocialist)-Women's League was the women's organization of the Nazi party, NSDAP. It was founded in October 1931 as a fusion of several national and nationalsocialist women's associations. Since then the Frauenschaft was subordinated to the NSDAP-Reichsleitung. Girls and young women were under responsibility of the Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM). From February 1934 to the end of World War II in 1945 leader of the NS-Frauenschaft was "Reichsfrauenführerin" (Reichs Women's Leader) Gertrud Scholtz-Klink (1902 - 1999).
