Fratta Polesine is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 70 km southwest of Venice and about 11 km southwest of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,756 and an area of 20.9 km².[1]

The municipality of Fratta Polesine contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Palazzine, Paolino, Pizzon, Ramedello Basso, Ramedello di Mezzo, Sabbioni, Valle, and Zaffarda.

Fratta Polesine borders the following municipalities: Costa di Rovigo, Lendinara, Pincara, San Bellino, Villamarzana, Villanova del Ghebbo.
