Fraserdale, Ontario

Fraserdale is a small community in Northern Ontario. It is located 131km north of Timmins.
The community /train stop was named for Alan Fraser, railway engineer. The neighbouring community Abitibi Canyon (4.5 kilometers east), was the most extensive community ever built by the Ontario Hydro Electric Power Commission. It once housed up to 1500 residents. The community is counted as part of Cochrane, Unorganized, North Part in Canadian census data.
