Fraser T Smith

Fraser T Smith is a London based producer/writer /mixer . His music career started aged 19 when he began playing guitar sessions in the studio, recording over 300 releases with artists such as Jamiroquai , Tim Deluxe , Rui Da Silva and Rick Wakeman. In 2000 , Fraser met up with a then unknown Craig David , and began doing acoustic performances around the world . Craig and Fraser also formed 'Treats' , a remix team specialising in Garage and R'n'B , and then went onto work on 'Can't be Messing Around' which featured on David's 7 million selling debut 'Born to do it' as well as 'World Filled With Love' and '4 x A Lady' from the album 'Slicker Than Your Average'. Fraser then decided to turn his attention to production and songwriting full time , and started working with Kano . The pair wrote and produced 'Typical Me' , 'Signs in Life' 'Nobody Don't Dance No More' and 'Ghetto Kid' amongst others on Kano's successful debut album 'Home Sweet Home' . Fraser then went on to write and produce with Plan B ('Dead and Buried' , 'Kids' etc) on his critically acclaimed debut album, 'Who Needs Actions When You Got Words'. The following months bought tracks by Beyonce , Eamon , Jamelia in and out of the studio , before Fraser concentrated on co-writing and producing 6 tracks on Kano's 2nd album 'London Town' and 5 tracks on Craig David's fourth album 'Trust Me' including the lead single 'Hot Stuff' . This common link, led to the collaboration 'This is the Girl' (Kano featuring Craig David. He has also just produced two tracks for the upcomming 'St Trinian's' soundtrack album including a remix of Trouble performed by the 'Girls of St. Trinian's' and Love is in the Air featuring Rupert Everett and Colin Firth.
