Fraser International College
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fraser International College (FIC) is located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada and was opened in 2006.
FIC is a private educational business that operates under agreement with Simon Fraser University. Courses at FIC are designed in consultation with faculty and departments at SFU, which allows for an oversight of course material and quality.
Students who complete a two-year university transfer program at FIC are eligible for transfer to Simon Fraser University to complete a four-year degree.
While under original and preliminary discussions at SFU, the FIC proposal (then called IBT) was the source of a great deal of controversy.[1] FIC is operated by International Business and Technology Education Ltd., an Australian educational business.
