Franz Kafka Prize
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Franz Kafka Prize is an international literary prize in the Czech Republic presented in honour of Franz Kafka, the German language novelist. The prize is co-sponsored by the Franz Kafka Society and the city of Prague.[1]
The prize is not related to the similarly named Janet Heidiger Kafka Prize given out by the University of Rochester in the United States. Each award is often called the "Kafka Prize" or "Kafka Award".
