Franz Burgmeier (born April 7, 1982 in Triesen, Liechtenstein) is a football player from Liechtenstein.

He started out as a youth at FC Triesen before moving to FC Vaduz in 2000. He then moved to FC Aarau in Switzerland after 5 seasons at the club. He was at Aarau for just 1 year before FC Basel snapped him up in 2006. FC Thun signed him on a 6 month loan deal in January 2008. Burgmeier is a Liechtenstein internationalist with over 35 caps and 6 international goals to his name.He has started all but 2 of Liechtenstein's games for this Euro 2008 qualifying campaign and is 1 of only 9 Liechtenstein players to play his football on foreign soil. He wears the No.11 shirt for his national team. He recently scored a late consolation goal in the European Football Championship qualifying match loss (1-4) at home to Northern Ireland.
