This importatn achitect building comes from years 1626-1631. First consecration of the church was done by ostrihomish cardinal Peter Pazmáň at 24. may 1631. At first it was only small church with shided roof and with small monastery. At the beggining of 18th century was the monaster in hands of Františka Rákocziho II. and Mikuláša Bercsényiho, which expanded monastery part. By the ends of 19th century, according to plans of K. Bálintha have been done next renovation. The last complax reconstruction have been done from yeat1978 to end of 20th century. Nowdays monastery serves as expozition of town museum, and as a part of acommodition for spiritual order of františkán monks.
