The Franklin Tower is a mid-rise building located in Portland, Maine. At 204 feet, it is the tallest building in the state of Maine, making Maine 47th out of the 50 states in terms of tallest building per state. Construction was completed in 1969, and its primary use is residential.

It affords residency, via the Portland Housing Authority, to people who meet criteria such as these: retirement age, disability, limited income, or other such criteria. As of 2007, it was possible to rent a single-occupancy unit for less than $300 per month. Comparable apartments in the Portland area generally rent for more than twice that amount.
