A variety of sports and activities are offered at Franklin High School. The athletic teams compete in the Southeast Conference of the WIAA. The Baseball team competes in the Greater Metro Conference.

In 2006 the Franklin High School football won the Division 2 state championship. They played Brookfield Central on November 7, 2006 in Camp Randall Stadium on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, putting their record at 14-0. The final score was 36-29.^[1]
