Franklin College Switzerland is a private 4-year college located in Lugano, Switzerland accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Learning in the United States and by the the Swiss University Conference in Switzerland. Its campus is located immediately above the city, in Switzerland's southernmost Italian-speaking canton of Ticino.

Franklin College awards the Bachelor of Arts degree in a number of academic areas.

Chartered in 1969, Franklin College is named for Benjamin Franklin, the United States' first ambassador to Europe.

FCS generally seeks students willing to have an education focused in Europe.

Franklin College includes an Academic Travel Program that requires students to travel two weeks per semester; trips are rewarded credit hours, and led by faculty members with academic expertise of relevant region: Malawi/Zambia, Japan, Turkey, Sicily, Costa Rica, Ireland, London, Portugal, and Greece are among some of the options provided.

The main campus, acquired in 1985, is composed of a private villa, on which are attached: a library (which also functioned as the school bomb shelter), auditorium, and classroom wing. It is surrounded by a wooded park. In May, 2005, the college acquired an additional campus immediately near by, adding administrative, educational, athletic, social and residential capacity. The current suburban campus spans 5 acres.

Franklin College has eight residence buildings:

  • Residenza Airone - The Office of Student Affairs is located on the ground floor of Airone and the Falcon's Nest, a place where students can play Fussball, watch TV, relax or study is located next door. This residence has both singles and doubles. Rooms come equipped with their own bathroom as well as a kitchen set consisting of refrigerator, freezer, stove, and sink.
  • Residenza Alba - located in between downtown Lugano and the main campus. There are singles and doubles available. All rooms have complete kitchen (stove, refrigerator, oven) as well as own bathroom.
  • Residenza Ciliegi - is centrally located; across from Student Affairs and between the North Campus and Main Villa. Apartment style doubles. Stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and sinks. There is a bathroom in every apartment. The apartments are split into two rooms: living area with couch, breakfast table, desks, and kitchen and the bedroom.
  • Residenza DaVinci - Freshman and/or first-year dorm - All rooms are doubles, either sharing one room or in a split double. Own bathroom for each room there is no private kitchenettes but a common room downstairs does have a complete kitchen as well as couches, tables and television.
  • Residenza Florida - located between downtown Lugano and the main campus. Singles and doubles equipped with bathroom and kitchenette.
  • Residenza Giardino - Multiples: some have 6 separate bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchens, doubles are also available as well as a three person multiple.
  • Residenza Girasole - Located between downtown Lugano and the main campus. Singles and doubles equipped with bathroom and kitchenette. One wing of this building is reserved for female residents.
  • Residenza Panera - Very nice triples.
