Franklin is a suburb in the Canberra, Australia district of Gungahlin.
Construction was well underway as of 2007. The postcode is 2913.
It is next to the suburbs of Palmerston, Crace, Harrison, Gungahlin and Mitchell. It is bounded by Gungahlin drive and Flemington Road. Located in the suburb is the Mulanggari Grasslands nature reserve, a Canberra Nature Park. It also has the Belconnen Model Aero Club.

Franklin is underlaid mostly by the Canberra Formation mudstone or volcanics from the late middle Silurian age.[1]
