The Frankfurt Lions are a professional men's ice hockey team hailing from Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany. Currently, the team plays at Eissporthalle Frankfurt.

The club was founded as a section of the famous sports club Eintracht Frankfurt in 1959. After the section split from the club, the reformation as Frankfurter ESC "Die Löwen" (meaning the the Lions) took place on March 5, 1991. When the DEL formed in 1994, the club was renamed the Frankfurt Lions.
