Frank "Dusty" Flanagan was born in Drogheda Co Louth Ireland. He played for Drogheda United and won the league cup with "the drogs" in 1984. He also was in the team that played Tottenham Hotspur in the Uefa cup in 1984. Dusty was co-commentator with local radio station LMFM on these matches: FAI cup final 2005, Setanta cup final 2006, 2007. Dusty is now a manager in St Feckins GAA club just outside Drogheda.
