Frank Wright (cricketer, born 1870)

Frank Wright (May 4, 1870December 9, 1943) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire during the 1899 season. Wright was born in Ilkeston and died in Cotmanhay.

Wright played just one first-class cricket match, against Surrey during the 1899 County Championship, against whom he scored four runs in the first innings and a duck in the second. Derbyshire lost the game by a ten-wicket margin, while Wright bowled expensively, Surrey taking him for 37 runs from four overs in the first innings of the match.
