Frank Wilkinson was a first class cricketer. A right arm medium fast bowler and right handed tail end batsman, he played 14 matches for Yorkshire CCC from 1937 to 1939, taking 26 wickets at just 22.69 with a best of 7 for 68 against Hampshire CCC. A genuine "rabbit" with the bat, he averaged only 5.61 in the first class game with a highest score of 18*.
He was born on 23 May 1914 in Hull, where he died on 26 March 1984. He also appeared for Yorkshire Second XI from 1935 to 1939.
