Frank Wiercinski

Brigadier General Frank Wiercinski is currently the Deputy Commanding General for support of the Multinational Division North in Iraq, and a member of the United States Army.
During Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan, then Colonel Wiercinski was commander of the 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) -- The Rakkasans.
Wiercinski has been in the Army since 1980. The troops under his command are responsible for a large part of Iraq, stretching from Baghdad to the Turkish border, and east and west to the borders of Iran and Syria.
