Frank Stone joined Harchester United in the summer of 2004 from Wigan Athletic with manager Don Barker. His greatest moment in a Harchester shirt was when he scored the winner against Barcelona which kept Harchester in the Champions League and took them in to the 2nd round against S.S. Lazio in which he scored a penalty.Stone was married to Don's daughter Jodie but she discovered from her father and Franks club captain Curtis Alexander that Frank was paying rent boys for sex in the back of his car. After this was discovered by the press the whole team looked on him as an outcast and to make matters worse Jodie, his wife, under all the pressure of Franks secret, had a miscarriage. After Jodie lost the baby, Frank left her eventually.
He was one of the first to be announced dead in the bus explosion.
