Frank Stephenson

Frank Stephenson (b. October 1959) is an automobile designer. He was born in Morocco and went to high school in Madrid, Spain.[1]Stephenson is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.[2]
Stephenson spent 11 years at BMW, where he worked on the BMW X5.[3] He is best known for the design of the 2001 MINI. He moved to Fiat in July 2002, working on the Maserati MC12 and Ferrari F430. He also oversaw Pininfarina's work on the Maserati Quattroporte and Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. He was appointed to head of Fiat, Lancia, and Commercial Vehicle Styling Centre in Turin, Italy on February 22, 2005. While there he headed the styling of the new Fiat Nuova 500. On June 2007 he was appointed to Alfa Romeo style chief replacing Wolfgang Egger, while Donato Coco took over his previous position. From March 2008 he is no longer the chief of Centro Stile Alfa Romeo, Christopher Reitz took over his previous position at Alfa Romeo.[4]
