Frank Sawyer MBE

Frank Sawyer was a riverkeeper on the Wiltshire Avon, notable for the development of the Pheasant Tail Nymph, widely considered as one of the most effective nymph patterns, and for a number of now classic fly fishing books:

  • Trout & the Nymph (1958)
  • Keeper of the Stream (1974)
