Frank Parker (actor)

Frank Parker (born July 1, 1939 in Darby, Pennsylvania is a soap actor best known as Grandpa Shawn Brady on Days of our Lives. He had portrayed the character on and off since 1983; Grandpa Shawn died in February 2008 after giving up his oxygen mask to save his son, Bo, on a sabotaged airplane that was going down. He also had some small roles in Never Too Young, The Young and The Restless and General Hospital.

He has three daughters: Candace (born 1982) and twins Lindsay and Danielle (born 1984). Candace died in January 1999.
