Frank Murphy (born December 2, 1981) is an Irish professional rugby union player (position scrum-half) who recently signed with Connacht Rugby for the 2008/2009 season. He is an Ireland A International and a former Munster Rugby player and a former Leicester Tigers player.
Frank grew up in Crosshaven, Co. Cork, Ireland, playing underage rugby with Crosshaven RFC. In early 1999 when Frank was playing for his school, Coláiste Muire Crosshaven against Glenstal Abbey School in the Munster Schools B final, the Mungret Cup, which was held in Musgrave Park, Cork he was spotted by CBC Cork. Frank moved to CBC for his final year of Secondary School, September 1999 to June 2000 where he went on win the Munster Schools Senior Cup where CBC beat Rockwell College at Musgrave Park, Cork in March 2000.
