Francis Mark Courtney McGowan (b. March 23, 1981), is a musician, film-maker, scriptwriter and novelist from Scotland. He is best known as drummer for Scottish rock band Stutter bunny.

In 2006 McGowan started his own television production company Bad Pony Productions, which produced a 2min short film for Zone Horror called Cheat. The film starred fellow Stutter bunny band members Michelle Martin, Ally Bowie and Charlene McDonald, and featured a giant bunny who killed people after a spell by a scorned lover had been cast and had gone awry.

Bad Pony Productions is currently in development of a new crime drama series pilot for television called Ninety Eight Percent, and a documentary on 1988 television sitcom The Munsters Today which was a remake of the 1966 series The Munsters. McGowan runs a fan-site for the show, and is nicknamed Cousin Frank by visitors to the website.

He made several appearances on television, most notably as a guest on the Open House with Gloria Hunniford show hosted by Gloria Hunniford where he appeared alongside ex-Boyzone singer Stephen Gately and actress Jenny Seagrove. Frank was part of a five week segment on sleep deprivation, and the segment was part of an official study by Professor Christopher Idzikowski, who is a leading expert on sleep-related disorders and acting chairman for a number of international medical foundations specializing in sleep assessment and research. Details of the study McGowan participated in feature in Idzikowski's book Learn To Sleep Well published by Chronicle Books in 2002.

Frank also appeared as a speaker on three editions of the short-lived late night Trial By Night discussion show for Scottish Television.
