Frank Lloyd

Frank Lloyd (born 2 February 1886 in Glasgow, UK, died 10 August 1960 in Santa Monica, California, United States) was an Academy Award-winning film director, scriptwriter and producer. Lloyd was among the founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences,^[1] and its president between 1934 and 1935.
