Frank Harper (b 1962) is a British actor. Portly and usually with cropped-short grey hair, Harper is best known for playing the roles of Billy Bright in The Football Factory (2004), Diamond Dog in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), Alan Paxton in Bend It Like Beckham (2002) and as the leader of the Nationalist Party in This Is England (2007). He appears as a white nationalist in South West 9, and as the bank robber in Harry Enfield's film, Kevin & Perry Go Large. He also featured in The Streets' music video "Fit But You Know It". Harper is currently being cast as Jack Whomes in Rise of the Foot Soldier, which is scheduled to premiere in 2007. Like his character in The Football Factory, Harper is yet again cast in the role of an aging hooligan in the film. During his career Harper has also appeared on many British tv shows including The Bill, Doctors, Lovejoy and Waking the Dead.
