Frank Barnitz

Frank Barnitz (born March 17, 1968) is a Missouri farmer and member of the Missouri State Senate. He is a Democrat. He currently resides in Lake Spring, Missouri.

He was raised in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and attended Southwest Missouri State University. He is married to Lisa Payne-Barnitz, and they have three daughters: Leslie Ann Fry, Camilla Alann Barnitz and Kenadee Grace Barnitz. He and his family are members of Grace Christian Church in Salem, Missouri. He is the owner/operator of Barnitz Farms, Inc.

He was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2000, and served in that body until 2002. He was elected to the Missouri State Senate in a special election in 2005.

He currently sits on the following committees:

  • Agriculture, Conservation, Parks and Natural Resources
  • Transportation
