Franco Semioli (born June 20, 1980 in Ciriè, Turin, Italy) is an Italian footballer for ACF Fiorentina of Serie A. He plays in the role of right wing, is 177 cm tall and weighs 71.4 kg.
Semioli, a Piedmontese who made his professional debut playing for Torino Calcio in 1998/99, played also for Salernitana, Ternana and Vicenza before joining Chievo Verona in 2003/2004. He became one of the most representative players for Chievo, and was one of the main protagonists of the very impressive 2005/2006 season.
On 16 August 2006, Semioli made his Italy national team debut against Croatia.
In July 2007 Semioli signed for ACF Fiorentina for a reported fee of €6.3m on a four-year contract.[1][2] Semioli was recalled to the Italy squad for the final Euro 2008 qualifier with Scotland.
