Francisco Trimboli

Francisco Trimboli (born July 9, 1933 - died January 18, 1996) was an Argentine water polo player who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics.

He was born in Buenos Aires in 1933 to Francisco Trimboli and Josefina Pungitore Trimboli.

The Eva Perón Foundation sponsored his studies at the Otto Krause Technical School and in the Faculty of Exact Sciences of the National University of La Plata.

He was the youngest squad member of the Argentine water polo team which was eliminated in the second round of the 1948 Olympic tournament.

He closed his sport career at College time and after his Chemistry graduation, he worked in entertainment business till the end of his life. He married in 1957 with Ines Hernandez de Trimboli and had 1 daughter (Rosana) and 2 sons (Jorge and Gustavo).

He died in Buenos Aires on January 18 of 1996 aged 62 years.
