Franciscan Minims of the Perpetual Help of Mary

The Franciscan Minims of the Perpetual Help of Mary (f.m.) is Roman Catholic contemplative religious order for women. It is founded in June 24, 1942 in Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico by Reverend Mother María Concepción of the Nativity of Perpetual Help. Nicknamed as the Order of Atonement/Work of Atonement, they live a life of prayer and penance. They have a different habit, compared to other Franciscans: Their habit is maroon, wearing a green head veil and a blue veil.

The Order was founded after an inspiration received by the foundress, Mother Maria Concepcion. The foundress is said to have spoken to the Crucified Jesus during the time of religious persecution of the president of Mexico that time, Plutarco Elías Calles.

The main apostolate of a Franciscan Minim nun is the perpetual adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. They also give religious conferences to women.
