Francis Giacco

Francis Giacco (1955- ) is an Australian artist who won the Archibald Prize in 1993/94 with Homage to John Reichard. Has a Bachelor of Architecture from the UNSW. Francis (known as Frank by his friends) has been a long time teacher at the Julian Ashton Art School, The Rocks, Sydney. His classes are characterized by a structured and logical approach to the tradition of classical drawing and painting techniques.
He is now married with two twin children, Anna and Sira Giacco[citation needed].
