Francis Dixon

Francis Dixon (November 2, 1854 - August 20, 1943 (aged 88)) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He was born in Heanor, Derbyshire, and died in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire.
Dixon made two first-class appearances for Derbyshire, the first of which came during the 1885 season, in an innings defeat at the hands of Surrey. Dropped from the team, he didn't appear in first-class cricket again until 1891, for a Nottinghamshire XI.
