Francis Basset (1715–1769)

Francis Basset (1715–1769) was a Cornish landowner and politician from Tehidy. He served as Member of Parliament for Penryn (1766-69).
He and his wife Margaret (daughter of the politician of Sir John St Aubyn, 3rd Baronet) had seven children - Francis (the first child), a younger son, and five daughters.
