Francis Banecki

Francis Banecki (born July 17, 1985) is a German footballer.

He played for the Reinickendorfer Füchse and for Hertha BSC Berlin in his youth years before moving to Werder Bremen in 2003/04. He moved from the youth team of Bremen and having had a successful 2004/05 season, he moved to the first team for 2005/06. Banecki is currently on loan to Eintracht Braunschweig, he is contracted to Bremen until 2008.

Banecki has played six times for the German Under-20 team, scoring two goals.
