Franché Coma

Franché Coma (born Frank Licata on August 17, 1957) is an American guitarist who has spent most of his life in Lodi, NJ. His first recording was a special acetate/single with Mike Morance in 1974. In the fall of 1977 he joined The Misfits as their first guitarist. All of Franché guitar work with the band was recorded in January 1978 during the famous Static Age sessions. He left the band in November 1978 and went on to play guitar for Active Ingredients. At present, Franché is still living in Lodi with his wife and four children.
In 2006, he appeared with the current incarnation of the Misfits at Tony Bennett's studio complex in Englewood, New Jersey to perform three songs from the Static Age LP.
