Francesco Profumo

Francesco Profumo (born in 1953, Savona, Italy) is Dean of the Engineering Faculty of the Politecnico di Torino (appointed 2003). His areas of professional interest include power electronics and electric machine drives. Other fields of interest include special electric machine design and modelling and control of electric machines with electronic switching converters.
