Francesco Gasparini

Francesco Gasparini (1668 – February 22, 1727) was an Italian Baroque composer and teacher. Born in Camaiore, near Lucca, he was musical director of the Pio Ospedale della Pietà, where he employed Antonio Vivaldi.
