Francesco DeLucia is an Italian-American made man, or full member, of the Colombo crime family who worked under boss Joseph Colombo from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. DeLucia, who changed his first name to Frank, is the brother of Lucchese crime family soldier Fredrick DeLucia. Frank DeLucia was a partner of a New York City day care center developer John Gurin in 1977. Gurin was later found to be borrowing funds from a mob-controlled union welfare fund at 18% to 20% interest rates.
