Frances Winfield

Frances Winfield, also known as Frances Bremer is an American author, also notable for being the wife of the former administrator of Iraq, Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III.

A Connecticut native, Winfield met her husband at a Dixieland concert. The two became college sweethearts and married in 1966. A devout Roman Catholic, she and her husband are Eucharistic ministers at their local parish in Maryland. They have two adult children.
