François Gourmet

François Gourmet (born 28 December 1982 in Libramont) is a Belgian decathlete.

He finished tenth at the 2005 European Indoor Championships, won the silver medal at the 2005 Summer Universiade, finished thirtenth at the 2006 European Championships, eighth at the 2007 European Indoor Championships and fifteenth at the 2007 World Championships.

His personal best score is 7974 points, achieved at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. He is a former Belgian record holder.[1]
