François Barois

François Barois (1656, Paris - 1726, Paris) was a French sculptor. Whilst resident at the French Academy in Rome he produced a copy of the Kallipygian Venus for Louis XIV from 1683 to 1686 - this, Cleopatra Dying and 3 more of his works, are now at the Louvre.
