François-Xavier Poizat

François-Xavier Poizat (born August 1989) is a French pianist. He was born in Grenoble. Poizat begun to study the piano at the age of 4, and by 2001 he had given his first recital at the CERN in Geneva at the age of eleven[1]

Poizat has been guided and instructed primerily by the pianist and teacher Alexis Golovin at the Conservatoire de musique de Genève. Poizat has performed regularly in Geneva, Paris, Moscow, and a number of other locations. He has played at the La Roque d’Anteron piano festival in 2005, and is due to play again on the August 8, 2007 at this location.[2]
