François-Hippolyte Barthélémon

François Hippolyte Barthélémon (July 27, 1741 - July 23, 1808,) was a French composer, violinist, and army officer in the Irish brigade.

He was long-term orchestra leader at the Royal Opera in London and leader of the orchestra at Marylebone Gardens. He was born in Bordeaux, France and died in London, England.
