[edit] Synopsis

The film is about a fragmented married woman caught in a riptide caused by her midlife crisis. She meets a very seductive photographer whose awkward offer may help her to find some kind of self-liberation. Her husband/cop, too busy trying to catch a serial rapist, doesn't realize his wife is drifting away.

The film starts with a Dante Alighieri's quote:

"Midway upon the journey of my life
I found myself in a dark wood,
where the right way was lost."
