I've just requested my username be enabled for WP:AWB, with a view to changing all references to {{fr}} to become references to {{fr icon}}, so that {{fr}} can become more like {{de}} and become an explanation that an article is based on the French Wikipedia. — OwenBlacker 22:02, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Language icon template refactoring
In September, I requested my username be enabled for WP:AWB. I'm currently changing all references to (for example) {{fr}} to become references to {{fr icon}}, so that {{fr}} can become more like {{de}} and become an explanation that an article is based on the French Wikipedia, whilst {{fr icon}} remains an indication that the linked content is in French. — OwenBlacker (Talk) 11:49, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
