Description

The Ryan FR Fireball was a composite propeller and jet powered aircraft designed for the United States Navy during the Second World War. Note that the FR-1s are flying on jet power only with propeller engines truned off. Part of a NATC aircraft (C-47?) is vivble in the foreground.
